Wood Buffalo National Park is home to a thriving ecosystem in northern Alberta. But there are concerns it could be under threat due to human activity. Now UNESCO and members of the community whose culture is tied to the park are calling on governments to take action. Melody Lepine, the Mikisew Cree First Nation director of government and industry relations, joined Global News at Noon Edmonton to give us a picture of what’s at risk.
